Sunasol SK, a modified ashless octane booster for automotive fuels, has been developed and manufactured at Sila, which intends to improve the ecological and operating characteristics of automotive fuels, to substitute such as MTBE and toxic tetraethyl lead with substantial advantages, and to bring compatible performance with ferrocene modified octane booster in boosting octane to fuels. It’s physico-chemical and operating characteristics meet the latest requirements of the standards in a number of countries worldwide. Application of Sunasol SK does not increase the content of NO and CO in exhaust gases, does not effect the performance of 3-way catalystic converter on exhaust gases. Sunasol SK offers excellent compatibility with oxygenates and Sunazocene D – the optimal quality of modified ferrocene to improve anti-knock characteristics in automotive fuels.
